Semalam dan hari ini… aku dah tamatkan kursus digital video streaming dan juga secara tak langsung menggunakan adobe premier pro 2.0 yadda..!!

Kursus ni memang best sebab instructornya memang pakar dalam bidang streaming dan segala soalan yang aku tanya dijawab dengan pemahaman yg hebat..!! yaddaa..!! ni kena penyakit apa pun aku taktau… yadda la pulakk…

So.. semalam sesi training aku sempat waktu pagi saja.. sebab petang.. aku kena attend meeting pepandu projek.. macam biasa laa.. dah kena jadi secretary… apa boleh buat… tapi pagi semalam.. aku godek adobe premier je.. dah 3 tahun lebih aku tak sentuh premier ni.. dah versi pro 2.0 dah.. iskk..!! aku catit la sikit apa yg aku ingat… arrrghhh..!!

Softwares
1. Adobe Premier Pro 2.0 (tryout version)
2. Windows Media Encoder 9 (free download)

Video System
1. PAL – res 720 x 576 (25 fps)
2. NTSC – res 720 x 480 (30 fps)
*fps = frame per 2nd

Cable type
1. RCA
2. Composite (white, red, yellow)
3. 8 ape ntah.. tak ingat…

nak buat video ni kena ada 3 step :
1. pre-production (plan, storyboard, script)
2. production (recording, shooting, narrating, background)
3. post-production (mixing audio, effects, rock)

Task
1. new project
- select DV-PAL
- select audio format (default must 48Khz)
- give location
- save

2. Study environment
- name section
- import file (double click also work)
- view file (.avi, .wav, .jpg, .txt) (double click to test)
- drag n drop item to timeline section
* double click at timeline bar to make a render mode. (render when press enter)

3. Cut movie
- select frame yang nak potong (drag bahagian mana)
- click ‘razor’ icon (or press C)
- click line frame tadi
- click area nak potong
- delete key
- click back ‘pointer’ icon
* right click pada .avi dan click unlink untuk separate movie & audio.
* klik ‘mangga’ / locked untuk protect frame.

4. Title
- klik file – new – title
* bukan title tajuk.. tapi sebarang text yang digunakan pada movie (contohnya karaoke lirik)

5. Export
- file – export
- select adobe media encoder
- pada preset – select ‘wm9 PAL 1024K Download’
(kenapa? ntah laa.. instructor suruh pilih yang tu sebagai ‘default’)

6. Capture from Video Cam to PC/laptop
- pasang RCA cable dari videocam ke pc/laptop
- run premier (file – capture or press F5)
- on camera and choose mode (in/out (camera) atau tape)
- record (press button record and also stop)
- untuk tape, boleh control videocam dari panel premier (play, rew, fwd, rec, stop)
- guna setting pada timecode (set in, set out untuk record section pada tape)

2. task bar output
- select push (radio button) – sekiranya streaming dari kamera ke server
- select pull (radio button) – sekiranya streaming dari pc ke server
- port :8080
- klik ‘apply’
- klik ‘start encoder’
- check ip (contoh : 202.188.10.77) and distribute to user/client

3. viewing streaming
- open Windows media player
- open URL – http://202.188.10.77:8080
- streaming….

LIVE EVENT (server to videocam)
Broadcast & Live events with Windows Media Encoder 9 (internet browser)
1. task bar source
- name : [letak nama source]
- source : pilih ‘file’ (radio button)
- file name : select file from pc (browse)
- at end : pilih ‘loop’

2. task bar output
- select ‘push’ (radio button) – streaming dari kamera ke server
- server name : server.com (nama server yang digunakan)
- publishing : latihan (nama projek)
- klik next (checking connection)
- finished

3. view from web browser
- open browser (IE, firefox, netscape)
- put link server – http://server.com/latihan
- streaming…

Recovery, Rebuild, Repair Comparison Chart (from Brown Education)

On the next screen, press the number of the Windows installation for which you know the administrator password. After selecting the appropriate Windows installation, type the administrator password when prompted.

Note: If you do not know the Administrator password, it may be blank. Without this password, you will not be able to run Recovery Console.
Type chkdsk /r and then press Enter.
After the test completes, attempt to start the computer and enter Windows XP.

Repairing an installation of XP
Start the computer with the Windows XP CD in the CD/DVD drive, and then when prompted press any key to boot from CD. On the Welcome to Setup screen, you will be given the option to Setup Windows XP now. Press Enter. Read and accept the License Agreement.

You are then given the volumes on which XP is currently installed. Choose your XP installation and press R. Installation files will be copied to the computer and the computer will restart. On startup, the screen will look like a regular installation of XP. However, when complete all settings and documents should be still in place. If the damage is severe, a repair installation will not succeed.

Rebuilding (reformatting and reinstalling) XP
If possible, back up all files and have application CDs ready to reinstall.
Start the computer with the Windows XP CD in the CD/DVD drive, and then when prompted press any key to boot from CD.

On the Welcome to Setup screen, you will be given the option to Setup Windows XP now. Press Enter. Read and accept the License Agreement. If you have a version of XP installed, you are given the option to repair. Instead, press ESC. Choose the partition on which you want to install XP (usually C). Press Enter. When given options for formatting, choose “Format the partition by using the NTFS file system” and press Enter.

Continue with the setup procedure and follow the prompts. The computer will restart and XP will be installed onto the drive.

Upgrading to XP from a lower version of Windows
Put XP CD into your computer and the CD should bring up a window giving options for using the CD. Choose Install Windows XP. Choose Upgrade to retain old settings and applications (some applications and hardware may need to be reinstalled).

Choose New Installation to remove your older version of Windows. You will need to reinstall your applications and reset personal settings. You may need to reinstall drivers for your hardware.
